| The Gerber tactical machete features a 10.75" saw back blade made of high carbon steel. The Gerber tactical machete is an excellent bit gear for anyone who needs to clear undergrowth. The tactical machete is small enough to be carried on the belt. The blade is sharp and the saw is excellent. Like all Gerber products, the tactical machete has a solid feel to it.
The proprietary Gator rubber grip of this Gerber machete offers ergonomic control while using either side of the blade. This is a health and safety feature to ensure a good grip, even in wet conditions. It comes with a hanging hole that can be used for a lanyard. A riveted smart black nylon sheath is included with this Gerber machete to ensure the machete is securely stowed and the blade is safely covered.
The tactical machete is compact - small enough to fit inside a backpack - the Gerber Gator Machete Jr, has an overall length of 18.75", and weighs only 14.3 ounces
