When you get into the bigger sizes it is common to order a size up on the shirts. Example: small pants and medium shirt, medium pants and large shirt or large pants and xlarge shirts. When we send kids costumes we send the bigger shirts and the result is hardly no returns due to sizing. The General Rule for average sized children is XS-3 to 4 years, S-5 to 6 years, Med - 7 to 8 years, Lg-9 to 10 years, XL - 12 to 14 years. Costumes may be exchanged.
